Bonaire is een klein eilandje in de Caribische Zee en is beroemd om zijn vooruitstrevende rol op het gebied van bescherming van flora en fauna en met name de bescherming van de natuur onder water. Daarnaast is Bonaire beroemd onder de scubaduikers en watersporters. Je kunt hier namelijk uitstekend duiken, snorkelen en windsurfen.
